Here is the list of tenets that I came up with while I was reading the The Happiness Project: Or, Why I Spent a Year Trying to Sing in the Morning, Clean My Closets, Fight Right, Read Aristotle, and Generally Have More Fun by Gretchen Rubin.

Don’t gossip
Be specific
Just leave it
Pause before acting
Love test before restarting discussion
Get out there
Love smart (thank you Dr. Phil)
Sit at the table (thank you Sheryl Sandberg)
Savour moments of happiness, joy, love
Accept moments of sadness, anger, frustration
Assume the best from people you know best
Cultivate wisdom
Stretching is better than napping
Bring your slippers
Get up early
Push it out to make room for more (not the baby but creative work)
Don’t hold back
Be curious (thank you Brene Brown)
