I did not post yesterday so I decided to add an extra silly tidbit today.

An ode to mayonnaise

oh mayonnaise
may I call you mayo?
you are best combined with tomato
or with any variation of potato
even though you are already a part of my main dish
I ask for more of you, as a side wish

oh mayonnaise
what would I do without you?
you are best combined with tomato

I tried to replace you with fat free yogurt
but missing you just causes hurt

  1. I have not been to puerto rico but it sounds like I should go. I am actually not a fan of ketchup though – too sweet – but I am curious about the combination.

  2. I appreciate your ode. Have you ever been to puerto rico? There they have these bottles of ketchup-mayo that they put on everything. Your ode to mayo would go well with their marketing.
